please, give this upcoming senior girl some advice.
the best advice, so that maybe her senior year won't be as awful as it's starting to seem. things you wish you'd done, things you wish you would have avoided, things that made your senior year worth while, things that make it easier, things i should not do. the works.

senior year tips:
ReplyDeletestay involved. it's easy to become the uncaring senior who's just ready to be done and moving on. live up your last year. before you know what happened it will all be gone. i regret not being around as much.
don't fret too much over college. don't freak out about where you should go or what you should major in. enjoy where you are now. high school. but that doesn't mean put off necessary college things. definitely apply and whatnot :]
cherish your friends. i used to think my high school friends would be my best friends forever. life happened and things changed. i met kids in college who somehow became even better than my high school friends. not saying this will happen to you or anything just saying cherish the time you have with them. don't spend senior year getting in silly fights and disagreements.
i'm excited for you to experience your senior year! such a fun time in life!
senior advice:
ReplyDeletekeep up with your schoolwork. even though you're a senior, don't let your grades drop wild. i'm not saying that you can't ditch class to get smoothies and cupcakes or go to "retail therapy", but remember you're only in school for a little bit longer. give it your best shot :)
the best revenge is to laugh it off. don't leave high school holding grudges. people can be dumb and mean. just laugh. :)
stay close to your family. after high school everyone seems to go their separate ways. you'll stay friends with a lot of people, but your family is always there. if you go away to college, you're going to want to look back and know you made the most of the time you had while living there and have someone to call with all your new college adventures! :)
look forward to graduating, college, and all that fun stuff, but enjoy each day as a senior. it's your last year, LIVE IT UP GIRL! :) plan themed parties, do stupid things, be involved in school activities, make new friends, and take a bazillion photos. :)
you're going to have a blast! senior year was definitely the best one yet :)
